Doctor Prescription & Medical Notepad Design

This prescription pad design was created for a practising physician who needed professional healthcare stationery that communicates clinical competence and builds patient trust at every consultation. The medical notepad design covers A5 prescription pads and A4 consultation notepads — both essential tools in any busy clinic.

Project Overview

A doctor prescription pad is one of the most frequently handled pieces of printed material in healthcare — passed between doctors, pharmacists, patients, and lab technicians daily. This prescription pad design brief called for clean, structured stationery that feels personal and professional while meeting all clinical documentation requirements.

Prescription Pad Design Approach

The layout features clearly defined zones: doctor credentials at the top, patient name and date fields, the classic Rx symbol, ruled medication fields, and clinic contact information in the footer. Typography was selected for maximum legibility — critical when handwritten notes are layered over printed text. Two colour variants were developed: one for general practice and one for specialist clinical use.

Technical Specifications

The finished prescription pad design was supplied as print-ready CMYK files at 300 DPI with 3mm bleed and crop marks — fully compatible with offset printing for bulk pad production. Delivered in PDF (for the printer) and AI (editable source) formats.
